6 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli & Taita Hills Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up and drive to Tsavo East. On arrival you begin game viewing, checking into your lodge or camp and taking an afternoon game drive that explores the plains and riverine areas where elephants and grazing antelope congregate.

After breakfast you travel to Tsavo West, exploring its volcanic landscapes in the afternoon and visiting Mzima Springs to view hippos and fish in the clear waters. The varied habitats of West provide a different set of wildlife and photographic angles.

Leaving Tsavo West you make your way to Amboseli. The afternoon game drive in Amboseli focuses on elephant families, plains game and the spectacular backdrop of Kilimanjaro, offering unforgettable sunrise and sunset photo opportunities.

You depart Amboseli after an early morning drive and head toward the Taita Hills region. The Taita Hills offer lush highland scenery, indigenous forest patches and the chance to visit private conservancies that support local conservation projects. An afternoon drive or walking experience lets you explore this quieter, scenic part of Kenya.

Spend the day in and around the Taita Hills on guided game drives and conservancy activities. The area is excellent for birdwatching and seeing species that prefer higher ground, as well as enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding lowlands. Conservation-focused visits to local community projects can be arranged for a deeper cultural insight.

On your final morning you take a last guided walk or game drive before starting the return journey to the coast. You arrive back at your beach hotel in the afternoon, completing a varied safari that mixes classic parks with off-the-beaten-path conservancies and highland scenery.
