Leave Nairobi in the morning and travel south to Amboseli National Park, where the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive, searching for Amboseli’s famous elephant herds, grazing antelope, and predators lounging in the late afternoon sun

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s varied landscapes. Morning and afternoon drives offer the best chance to spot large herds of elephants, as well as buffalo, lions, cheetahs, and abundant birdlife. In between drives, relax at your lodge and soak in the uninterrupted views of Africa’s tallest mountain.

After breakfast, embark on a final game drive before heading north to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, set out on a boat safari, drifting past pods of hippos and watching African fish eagles dive for their prey. Land at Crescent Island for a guided walk among giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest in a predator-free environment.

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, home to both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and, when in season, flocks of pink flamingos along its soda-rich shores. An afternoon game drive will take you through acacia forests and around the lake’s edge in search of wildlife.

After breakfast, travel across the highlands and down into the vast plains of the Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first evening game drive — an introduction to the park’s thriving wildlife and spectacular landscapes.

A full day of game viewing allows you to cover more of the Mara’s diverse terrain. At sunrise, watch the plains come alive as predators begin their hunt. Throughout the day, track the Big Five and, if visiting during migration season, witness the drama of wildebeest river crossings. Picnic in the bush before returning for an evening under the African stars.

Begin the day with a final morning game drive, then enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon to conclude your safari.
