2 Days Tsavo East Safari

Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from your beach hotel in Watamu, Malindi, Mombasa, or Diani. As the sun rises over the horizon, the road takes you inland past rural villages and open farmland before the first signs of the wild emerge. Upon entering Tsavo East National Park, your adventure truly begins with a game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. After settling in and enjoying a hearty lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to exploring the park’s diverse habitats, from the lush Galana River banks to the endless savannah plains. Wildlife sightings often include elephants, zebras, hartebeest, and the elusive leopard.

The day starts before sunrise with an early morning game drive — the best time to witness predators on the hunt and the park coming alive with bird calls and the rustle of wildlife. After breakfast at your lodge, you enjoy a final short game drive as you make your way towards the park’s exit, taking in the last sweeping views of the landscape.
