4 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli Safari

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your coastal hotel and a drive inland to Tsavo East. After entering the park you enjoy game viewing en route to your lodge or camp. The late afternoon is perfect for a game drive along the Galana River and across plains where the distinctive red elephant often dusts itself in the ochre soil.

After breakfast you travel toward Tsavo West, where volcanic ridges, springs and shady riverine pockets create a striking contrast to the open plains of the previous day. You spend the afternoon at Mzima Springs and on game drives across the park’s varied habitats, searching for hippos, crocodiles, buffalo and predators that favour this rugged terrain.

Leaving Tsavo West after an early game drive and breakfast, the route takes you toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch with panoramic views of Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). The afternoon game drive in Amboseli focuses on large family groups of elephants, diverse birdlife and spectacular photographic vantage points where Kilimanjaro frames the landscape.

You rise early for a final sunrise game drive in Amboseli to capture the best light and wildlife activity, returning to the lodge for breakfast. After a last look at the plains and Kilimanjaro, you begin the return journey to the coast, arriving in the afternoon to unwind by the Indian Ocean.
